OFFICIAL PUBLIC STATEMENT: PREDATOR POACHERS ILLINOIS
FOR IMMEDIATE PUBLIC RELEASE
Date: November 2, 2026
Subject: Evidence Submission and Ongoing Inaction Regarding Gary Hartjes (Little Chute, WI)
Investigating Agency: Fox Valley Metro Police Department (Outagamie County, Wisconsin)
Reporting Entity: Predator Poachers Illinois
Statement Overview
On August 4, 2026, representatives of Predator Poachers Illinois conducted an in-person confrontation with Gary Hartjes in Little Chute, Wisconsin, following an extensive digital investigation. During this encounter, Mr. Hartjes made direct, voluntary on-camera admissions regarding the commercial purchase and possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and illicit communications directed at an individual he believed to be a 13-year-old child.
Approximately two months (60 days) have passed since our team delivered this complete evidentiary file into the physical custody of the Fox Valley Metro Police Department. To date, there has been no arrest, no criminal charges filed in the Wisconsin Circuit Court Access (CCAP) system, no public notification, and zero response to our repeated inquiries.
We are releasing this factual statement to provide complete transparency to the Fox Valley community, correct factual misconceptions, and demand accountability from local law enforcement and prosecutorial authorities.
Chronology of Events
Initial 911 Emergency Call Refusal (August 4, 2026):
During our in-person contact with Gary Hartjes in Little Chute, our team contacted 911 to request immediate law enforcement dispatch to the scene. An on-scene response was vital to effectuate a legal investigatory stop under Wisconsin Statute § 968.24, secure the suspect’s mobile phone while it was placed in airplane mode, and prevent evidence destruction. Fox Valley Metro dispatch declined to send field units to the location, instructing our team to disengage and report to the police department instead. This operational decision surrendered physical control over the scene and allowed the suspect to leave with his device intact.
Formal Police Station Intake (4:44 PM CT, August 4, 2026):
At approximately 4:44 PM Central Time, our team met in person at the Fox Valley Metro Police Department station with Officer Schmahl and assisting specialist Officer Radtke. During this recorded 25-minute intake interview, we formally handed over a comprehensive evidentiary package, including an SD card containing unedited video footage and a binder of hardcopy transcripts and photographs.
Substantive Confessions Disclosed to Officers:
As captured on unedited video, Gary Hartjes admitted on camera to:
Reaching out online to an undercover persona explicitly declared to be 13 years old on the first page of the chat logs;
Transmitting sexually explicit visual materials featuring his recognizable face;
Spending approximately $1,000 on Apple and Razer digital gift cards to purchase prohibited CSAM via Telegram (specifically naming an account identified as "Desiree" );
Possessing an archive of upwards of 500 illicit images and videos on his mobile phone; and
Maintaining secondary devices (an iPad and an additional mobile phone) containing prohibited materials at his residence in Little Chute.
Sixty Days of Departmental Inaction:
Our team was provided an official incident number by Officer Radtke. Since August 4, we have made multiple formal follow-up attempts and left voicemails requesting case status updates. Not a single call has been returned. As of November 2, 2026, Gary Hartjes remains at large without restrictions or public monitoring.
Important Factual Clarifications Regarding Gary Hartjes
To ensure total accuracy and prevent misinformation, we clarify the following facts regarding the suspect and his household:
Criminal Background: Official records indicate Gary Hartjes has no prior criminal convictions for sex offenses.
Employment & Proximity to Children: Gary Hartjes does not work with children and does not work at a horse ranch. Discussion during the police interview regarding a horse ranch and a youth camping trip referred exclusively to an external, unrelated case in Juneau (Dodge County), Wisconsin, which our team cited to the officers purely as a comparative example of immediate, decisive police action.
Household Status: Gary Hartjes has no minor children, and no children reside in his home. His son is an adult in his 20s with special needs (autism).
The criminal allegations against Gary Hartjes rest entirely on his verified online solicitations, electronic transmissions, and voluntary admissions regarding commercial CSAM acquisition.
Statutory Breaches and Operational Failures
Under Wisconsin law, the evidence presented established immediate probable cause of multiple felony offenses:
Wis. Stat. § 948.075: Use of a Computer to Facilitate a Child Sex Crime (Class C Felony). Liability attaches when an individual uses a computerized communication system to solicit someone they believe to be a child under 16; it is legally irrelevant that the decoy was an adult.
Wis. Stat. § 948.11: Exposing Harmful Material to a Child (Class I Felony).
Wis. Stat. § 948.12: Commercial Acquisition & Possession of CSAM (Class D Felony).
By refusing to respond to the 911 call and taking no immediate action to secure the suspect's devices, the department allowed an admitted consumer of child exploitation media to retain electronic access and potentially destroy critical evidence. Bureaucratic skepticism toward civilian watchdog groups does not relieve law enforcement officers of their mandatory sworn duty under Wisconsin Statute § 946.12 to investigate corroborated felonies and protect public safety.
Demands for Transparency and Public Action
Predator Poachers Illinois calls upon local and state officials to immediately address this matter:
Case Assumption by State Authorities: We urge the Outagamie County District Attorney’s Office and the Wisconsin Department of Justice DCI Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force to immediately assume jurisdiction over this case, review the tendered unedited recordings, and execute necessary forensic warrants under Wis. Stat. §§ 968.12 and 968.135.
Police Commission Inquiry: We demand that the Fox Valley Metro Police Commission and Chief of Police initiate an administrative review under Wis. Stat. § 62.13(5) into the handling of the August 4, 2026 911 call and subsequent investigative dormancy.
Public Records Retention: We have issued a formal demand under the Wisconsin Public Records Law (Wis. Stat. §§ 19.31–19.39) for the strict preservation of all 911 audio, dispatch CAD logs, Body-Worn Camera (BWC) footage, and evidence property intake ledgers from August 4, 2026.
We remain fully committed to supporting the justice system, protecting children from online exploitation, and ensuring that verified criminal disclosures are not quietly swept under the rug.

Back in July we caught gary hartjis in little chute Wisconsin. He confessed to spending around $1000 on csam on camera during the interview. The police refused to come to the 911 call and asked us to come to the station to meet with them. When my cameraman told me that the one officer corrected him on the pronunciation of Garys last name, I knew we were going to deal with some bull shit. I would assume that the officer is buddies with our pedofile. What those officers don't know is that we were secretly recording the whole conversation. Here is that recording. by the way, I have tried to get some answers from the little chute police department and I have left voicemails with the officer in this recording with zero replies. Gary is still a free man and there is no record of any action being taken by the police. this will most likely turn into a order 66 by the end of the day. I'm going to try to verify that there is not any ongoing investigation on gary before I give the order. I ...
So turns out, Bobby may not have been lying on the first number he gave Aaron. The POS had a second phone in his backpack!
